I grew up watching Wayman Tisdale play ball on TV… he was a devastating combo with Mitch Richmond at Sacramento. After he retired I found out that he began a career as a jazz musician, and occasionally I’d read about his faith as well. I just saw this article and short video on his recent amputation of his leg from cancer, and the openness he continues to carry with his faith and how it brings him joy really encouraged me.
