blackbird

This week, 3sixteen debuted at Blackbird, a menswear shop in Seattle that Johan and I respect enormously. There’s something about a well-curated shop – from its carefully considered brands to its visual presentation and store buildout – that really inspires me. And from a designer’s perspective, we just couldn’t do what we do without the support of retailers that showcase and educate potential customers on our line. Of all the exciting things that we’ve experienced at 3sixteen, I really look forward to the day where we get involved in the retail environment ourselves.

  2. Thanks Sue – loving your super creative knit creations too. Whenever Lily and I have a kid (give us a few more years) you can rest assured that we will come calling for several pieces.

We’ve been asked here and there why we don’t do women’s stuff but the reality is that we’re still trying to figure out how to do men’s stuff. Women’s clothing is a whole new ballgame…
