Harley-Davidson Iron 883.

Last week, the Ace Hotel hosted a Harley-Davidson event highlighting their “Back to Basics” line. My favorite was the flat black Iron 883 pictured above.

Andrew, I came to your site through a watch blog, and just started looking around. My company makes licensed Harley-Davidson electronics accessories (cases, iPhone skins, etc.), and twice a year we go to all-hands dealer meetings to show our new line. All of the bikes are there, and this is definitely my favorite Harley. It probably irks the traditionalists, but to me it just has the right stance and look, and at 32 I am not ready for all of the chrome on the rest of the line. This is a hot bike.

Jon, you’re right. This is definitely not one for the traditionalists, but is instead an entry level bike aimed at a younger audience that might’ve not looked at Harley-Davidson otherwise (it definitely helps that the MSRP on the bike starts under $8k). I’m not a heavy bike enthusiast and have a lot to learn, but aesthetically this fits exactly what I’m looking for.
